Warrensburg, Mo. – Southwest Baptist University women's track and field team competed in a two-day event at University of Central Missouri, Thursday and Friday. Numerous Bearcats got the opportunity to compete looking for strong marks ahead of the GLVC Championships.
 
Freshman Madison Davis highlighted the event with a second-place finish in the 400-meter dash. Beating out numerous conference opponents, just finished just a couple seconds shy of hitting a National mark.
 
Coming off her school record a couple weeks ago, senior Olivia Littleton ran half the distance she previously did, competing in the 5000-meter run. Here she took fifth place with a time of 17:33.86. Fellow distance runners and back-to-back GLVC cross country freshman of the year, Natalie Gerdes and Gracie Troester took 5^th and 7^th place respectively in the 1500-meter run.
