Bolivar, Mo. – After an exciting Hall of Fame class of 2025, SBU Athletics is now accepting nominations for the Hall of Fame Class of 2026. Nominations will be accepted now through March. Nominees must have finished at SBU, at least 5 years prior to being nominated. Link for the nomination is below.

This past Fall, SBU athletics got to induct four new members into the Hall of Fame. This included Garry Brandt (football coach), Natalie Goatley (T&F), Fanni Varga (tennis), and Corey McElhaney (T&F/XC). They first were recognized at the alumni dinner before officially being inducted at the SBU celebration. The following day these four continued to get recognized with their own separate car during the homecoming parade and a special spotlight during the football game.
 
The purpose of the SBU Athletics Hall of Fame is to recognize individuals and teams for outstanding contributions, either during their collegiate careers on and off the field, or through commendable service to intercollegiate athletics.
