The FCS bowl is an annual post-season college football all-star game consisting of the top players from college football FCS schools. This game is only dedicated to FCS, D2, D3, and NAIA schools. Numerous NFL and CFL scouts attend the game and get a chance to view and get to know some of the best players from smaller schools.
"I am honored to represent the Bearcats in the 10
th annual FCS bowl against some of the best competition in the country" Turner said. Currently holding three SBU records for place kicking, Turner will go down as the best kicker in SBU history. He has earned four All-American awards, a 1

His teammate for the last four years was wide receiver
Jordan Kent, who is also an SBU record holder. This season he broke the SBU single season record in yards per catch averaging 25.3, four more yards than the previous record. That record led him to break the SBU career record in yards per catch with 17.31. As a five-year player for the Bearcats, his hard work and dedication has paid off by being the sole 1
st team All-GLVC member for SBU this season.
"Being able to play in this game means a lot to me because for so long I've gone without being recognized and now I finally get to show my abilities in front of scouts and ex pro ballers"- Kent said.
A two-year starter for the Bearcats also getting the chance to compete in front of NFL scouts is tight end
JaQuan Dorsey. "It is really a blessing to be able to do something like this, one can only imagine to be able to get a chance to make your dreams a reality" Dorsey said. He has been a crucial part to the Bearcat offense over the last two years appearing in 20 games and recording four touchdowns.
The former SBU teammates, will now get to compete against each other as they are on two separate teams for this bowl game. Turner and Dorsey will each suit up on the National team whereas Kent will oppose them playing for the American team. Live stream and more information can be found below:
