Brookfield, Ill. – Junior place kicker, Logan Turner, was announced as a 2023 Don Hansen NCAA Division II All-American Tuesday morning. Turner earned a first team All-American award, SBU football's first since 2015. This is also his fourth All-American award, the first ever Bearcat to earn four All-American awards (2nd team or better) in the same season.
 
Earlier this season, Turner earned 2^nd team All-Americans in the AP (Associated Press), AFCA (American Football Coaches Association), and D2Football.com. He was also names to D2CCA All-Region 2^nd team and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team, still waiting for All-American results. On the conference level, he earned 1^st team All-GLVC and the GLVC Special Teams Player of the year.
