Warrensburg, Mo- The SBU Indoor Track and Field team had 16 individuals compete in today's University of Central Missouri Invitational. The Bearcats had six top three finishes along with two 1st place finishes. Britney Clark took first in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.62 seconds, only .09 seconds behind the SBU record which is held by Clark. Troy Davidson took first place in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:00.36.
 
"This first meet after winter break is always a good chance to see where we are at. With only 1/3 of our team competing this weekend we had some people step up big and some people who had some good experience to learn and grow from. This group has some great energy and team unity, and I am excited to see what we can do as we continue to improve as this indoor season unfolds" said Head Coach Corey McElhaney.
