St. Joseph, Mo. - The Bearcats came up just short in a tight battle against the former MIAA foe Missouri Western. Missouri Western pushed the Bearcats record to 1-1 (0-0 GLVC) on the season with a 63-84 loss on the road.

 The Griffins had a 43-32 lead at the half but the Bearcats paced the Griffins in the third quarter to keep the game close. Missouri Western eventually pulled away but the Bearcats were supported by 19 points from Bailey Rezabek and 10 from Kyleigh Vaught. Regan Tibbits led the team once again in rebounds with 7 this game. Sydney Bandy also went 2-4 from deep to help SBU.

The Bearcats will be back in action on November 16 at 6:00 PM at home. Be sure and come support the team!
