NEW YORK, N.Y. -- The NBA Developmental League draft was held Monday night, where SBU All-American center Matt Rogers was picked fourth overall, to the Texas Legends. Rogers was waived after spending training camp with the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats, where he made three pre-season appearances last month.

The Legends are based in Frisco, Texas, in the Dallas metro area, and are preparing for their first season as an expansion team. Their inaugural season kicks off Sunday, November 21, against Rio Grande Valley.
